Buena Vista, VA is a small town in Rockbridge County to the east of Lexington, VA. Pronounced B-yoo-na Vista, the town is adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway, famous for it’s high altitude views along the Blue Ridge Mountains. Even now, in my alumnus life, I love to venture over to BV to see these mountains. On the parkway, it is a stellar sight looking down across the valley. This shot looks to the southwest where BV is in the valley below the road’s bend.
