After having just dropped passengers off in the borough of Jim Thorpe, PA, the great Reading & Northern #2102, made this epic turn around to go back into the station. As dozens of railfans lined the hillside, #2102 backed up onto the far side of the river, then swung around to the near side, before backing up down into the borough. The rail system from the sky looks like a large ‘Y’, with the bottom of the ‘Y’ being Jim Thorpe. This spectacle was captured when she pulled forward to swing her cars around to the near side of the river.
